How it works

From product to owner.

One share for every adult on earth. Here is the whole of it: your share, the engine behind it, the rules, and where things stand today.

I

Your share

  1. Claim

Confirm your email and tell us who you are. If you are 18 or over, one share is yours — for yourself only.

  2. Your number

You receive a specific share with its own number, out of nine billion. That number is yours.

  3. Held in trust

Your share is held in trust for you until you are verified. Nobody can buy it, sell it or borrow against it.

  4. Verified

We confirm who you are before your first dividend — or earlier, at a milestone such as one million members.

II

The engine

People are the value.

Every business is valued by its customers. At Huntos, the customers and the owners are the same people.

Stakes in strong businesses.

Huntos takes minority stakes — usually 5–15% — in businesses with real customers, bringing capital and the custom of its shareholders. Every investment is announced. You never have to buy anything.

Capital raised on all of us.

Banks lend against assets, and Huntos’s asset is its membership. If Huntos borrows, it borrows on all of us together. You never borrow, and your share can’t be pledged.

Dividends, in equal part.

When Huntos profits and its board declares a dividend, it is paid into each shareholder’s Huntos Account — one share, one equal part.

III

The rules

  • One share per person, 18 or over, for yourself.
  • It can’t be bought, sold, given away, pledged or inherited.
  • No fees, no perks, no referral rewards — nothing for signing anyone up.
  • Dividends are paid only into your Huntos Account.
  • You can surrender your share at any time, and claim again later.
  • On death, the share returns to the pool. Your Huntos Account balance passes to your estate.
  • Unclaimed shares are held in trust by the founder, Michael Smith. They are never sold.
