Questions
Ask anything.
Plain answers to what people ask most. If yours isn’t here, the assistant will answer it.
The idea
What is Huntos?
One share in one company for every adult on earth.
You have always been the product — your attention, spending, data and working life are priced and sold by others. Huntos is built so the value people create comes back to the people who create it. One share each, the same for everyone.
How does Huntos make money?
By owning part of strong businesses — usually minority stakes of 5–15%. Huntos brings two things businesses value: capital, and the custom of its shareholders.
Huntos never makes money from members. It charges nothing and never sells your data.
Why does a share cost nothing?
Because the shareholders are the value. Charging for a share would defeat the point.
What you give is the information the law requires before money can move to you.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t a hidden one. The honest risks are plain: Huntos is new and in formation, a share may be worth nothing, and dividends may never be paid.
What does the name mean?
Huntos comes from juntos — Spanish for together. We all rise together.
Who is behind Huntos?
Michael Smith, founder. Huntos Corporation is in formation. Registration details will be published on this site as soon as incorporation is complete.
Unclaimed shares are held in trust by the founder for the people who have not claimed yet. They are never sold.
Your share
Why 9,000,000,000 shares?
Enough for every person on earth, with room to grow. Each share is identical. Until a share is claimed, it is held in trust.
Can I have more than one share?
No. One share per person. That is what makes it fair.
Can I sell my share, give it away or borrow against it?
No. Your share can’t be sold, given, pledged or inherited. That protects you: no one can buy you out, and no lender can ever take it.
What happens to my share when I die?
The share retires and returns to the pool, ready for someone else to claim. Any balance in your Huntos Account passes to your estate.
Can I give my share back?
Yes, at any time, from your account. If you are still eligible you can claim again later — you will receive a new number.
Are the shareholders I see on the site real?
Yes. The live feed and the lights on the home page show real allocations only. A first name appears only if that person chose to show it, and a country only once at least five members live there. You can mute the feed.
The money
When will dividends be paid, and how much?
There is no date and no amount. Dividends can only come from real profits, when Huntos’s board declares them and the company is solvent. Huntos has not yet made an investment. Dividends are never guaranteed.
What is the Huntos Account?
Where dividends are paid. It will open before any dividend, and the balance belongs to you. It is not open yet.
Who can claim
Who can claim?
Anyone 18 or over, for themselves. Residents of North Korea, Iran, Syria and Cuba can’t claim, because sanctions law prevents it.
Can I claim for my child, a company or a trust?
No. A share is for one living person, claimed by that person. Children can claim their own at 18.
Why do you ask for my details?
Anti-money-laundering law requires Huntos to know who its shareholders are before any money moves: your legal name, date of birth, address, tax residency, and whether you are a US person or politically exposed.
Tax numbers are encrypted. We ask once, on the claim journey — never by email, text or phone.
Why don’t you check my ID straight away?
No money moves until there is a dividend, so documentary checks happen before your first dividend — or earlier, at a milestone such as one million members.
Your account
How do I sign in?
With a link sent to your email. There is no password. Each link works once and lasts 15 minutes.
Can I install Huntos as an app?
Yes — from huntos.hn, with no app store. See /install for your device.
Trust
Is Huntos a scam?
It is a fair question, and the right instinct. Huntos never asks for money, the founder is named, and we say plainly that we are new, in formation and unlicensed.
Don’t take our word for it — /trust shows how to check us yourself.
Is Huntos regulated?
Not today. No financial regulator licenses Huntos. Before any regulated activity — such as opening Huntos Accounts or paying dividends — Huntos will hold the licences it needs or work through licensed partners. Nothing on this site is financial advice.
How do I know an email is really from Huntos?
It comes from an address ending @huntos.hn or @huntos.cloud, only after you started something, and its links go to huntos.hn. Huntos never asks for money, passwords or codes.
Can I talk to a person?
Yes. The assistant at /contact hands over to the team, or write to [email protected].
Privacy
Do you sell my data?
Never. Your value isn’t extracted here — that is the point. We don’t share your information with the businesses Huntos invests in without your explicit consent.
Where is my information kept?
On Huntos servers hosted in Germany, protected by Cloudflare. Sensitive fields such as tax numbers are encrypted. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail and your rights.
Businesses
How does Huntos choose businesses?
Businesses with real customers, or a credible path to them, in any country. Huntos usually takes a 5–15% stake. Every investment is announced to members, and no one is ever obliged to buy anything.
Can my business apply, and does it cost anything?
Yes, through the assistant at /businesses. It is free. Anyone asking you for a fee in Huntos’s name is not Huntos.
